About the Role
We are looking for a Customer Support Engineer to join our Product Support team. This role involves providing technical and product support to customers and collaborating with various departments to improve product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- →Provide technical & product support to UK and overseas customers for all QTL products
- →Support the introduction of new products and features in conjunction with Marketing and R&D
- →Conduct monthly service and support reviews with country specialists
- →Feedback quality issues from the marketplace to QA and R&D departments
- →Visit customer sites as required to provide onsite support
- →Provide daily support to internal departments and specialists via email, TeamViewer, Microsoft Teams, or telephone
- →Coordinate and prioritize departmental requests
- →Provide product requirement specifications for new products
- →Provide installation and field support for document systems
- →Act as second line escalation for high call UK sites and customer complaints
- →Liaise with R&D and QA to improve product quality
- →Provide technical training and documentation
- →Conduct product demonstrations for sales teams
- →Maintain awareness of departmental and company procedures
- →Ensure compliance with Health and Safety at Work requirements
Requirements
- ✓Technical expertise in providing product support
- ✓Experience with TeamViewer and Microsoft Teams
- ✓Ability to travel to customer sites as required
- ✓Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- ✓Knowledge of product installation, maintenance, and fault finding
