Agile DevOps Engineer at qualysoft

Responsibilities • Collect, clean, and prepare data from SQL and NoSQL sources (Oracle, Impala; BigQuery/MongoDB preferred) • Design, implement, and optimize machine learning models, with a strong focus on gradient boosting techniques (XGBoost, CatBoost) • Manage end-to-end ML workflows, including data preprocessing, model training, inference, and prediction • Analyze and visualize data to support business decisions using Power BI or Looker • Deploy, monitor, and maintain ML models and data pipelines on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) • Ensure reproducibility and scalability using Git and CI/CD pipelines • Work in an Agile environment, take ownership of tasks, and solve problems independently Requirements • Advanced proficiency in Python and Jupyter Notebook • Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (Oracle, Impala; BigQuery/MongoDB is a plus) • Solid knowledge of machine learning algorithms, especially gradient boosting (XGBoost, CatBoost) • Hands-on experience with end-to-end ML workflows (data ingestion, preprocessing, training, inference, prediction) • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Looker) • Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) • Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets • Familiarity with Agile methodologies • End-to-end ownership mindset and strong independent problem-solving skills Advantages • Experience with PySpark • Knowledge of recommendation system development • Familiarity with Apache Airflow • Experience using Jira • Background in the telecommunications or SME sector Why we think you will love working here: With us you count as a person, our doors are always open.
