As our Chief of Staff, you will make the CEO and the wider management team operate as effectively as possible. You will help run the leadership teamβs operating cadence, translate the CEOβs intent into execution across the company, and prepare the work that supports the Board.

This is a fixer role: practical, hands-on, often demanding long days. The work ranges from sharpening the LT cadence and a quarterly Board pack to picking up a defined CEO project (e.g. standing up a QuantWare presence in a new market) and seeing it through.
WHAT YOUβLL BE DOING
Runs the LT operating cadence
Designs and runs the rhythm the leadership team operates by. Makes meetings produce real decisions. Tracks commitments. Cascades objectives. Keeps the team aligned.
Translates CEO intent into execution
Turns the things the CEO is most focused on into scoped projects with clear ownership and carries them through. The CoS owns shape and follow-through; the substance lives with the function. A few examples of what a CoS project looks like: standing up a presence in a new market, scoping a major customer programme, running a senior hiring sprint.
Prepares the Board
Owns the operating side of Board prep β agenda, materials, pre-reads, follow-ups. Partners with the CFO and the rest of the LT on the substance.
Helps the CEO focus
Triages incoming asks. Pre-reads what the CEO is walking into. Helps structure the CEOβs time and attention against what matters most. The point is multiplying the CEOβs leverage.
Supports investor-readiness and strategic comms
Partners with the CFO on investor-readiness operating work as that workstream picks up. Partners with the VP Marketing on strategic comms. The CoS sharpens the strategic frame; ownership stays with the relevant function.

YOUR PROFILE
Weβre more interested in the shape of the person than in any single line on a CV. If most of the below resonates, please apply.
- 6+ years of experience, ideally with a foundation at a top-tier strategy consultancy or investment bank. Operating experience inside a high-growth company on top of that is a meaningful plus.
- High agency. Comfortable starting work without being told exactly how. Sees the unowned thing and picks it up.
- Low ego, high ownership. Here to make others more effective rather than to be in front. Finds satisfaction in the work landing well.
- Sharp written and verbal communicator. Pre-reads, decision memos, and planning documents are core artefacts; the audience is senior and the bar is high.
- Mature judgement. Calm under pressure.
- Hungry. The role asks for long days and real focus, especially in the first year.
- Genuinely interested in the substance. A quantum or hardware background isnβt required; willingness to learn the technology and the market is.
- Fluent English. EU work authorisation, or willingness and eligibility to relocate to Delft.
Delft, four or more days per week on-site. The leverage of this role depends on being in the room with the CEO and the LT. English is the operating language.
