About the Role
We are looking for a proactive Paralegal to support Red Oak's legal and corporate governance needs as we scale through acquisitions and expand our platform. This high-visibility role involves working directly with executive leadership and outside counsel on a wide range of legal activities.
Key Responsibilities
- →Manage external contract lifecycle including drafting, reviewing, and maintaining commercial agreements
- →Own and maintain all employee-facing documents ensuring proper version control
- →Serve as primary liaison with external legal counsel, managing timelines and deliverables
- →Support corporate governance functions including board meeting preparation and entity filings
- →Assist with M&A due diligence by organizing data rooms and tracking document requests
- →Help maintain compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements
- →Build and improve legal processes and templates to increase efficiency
- →Handle ad hoc legal and administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of paralegal or corporate legal experience, preferably in tech or PE-backed environment
- ✓Strong understanding of corporate governance, contract law, and commercial agreements
- ✓Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple workstreams
- ✓Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ✓Comfortable with contract management tools and legal tech platforms
- ✓Experience with workflow automation and AI tools
