About the Role
The Key Account Manager is a senior entrepreneurial leadership role responsible for developing and implementing Red Bull’s sales strategy. This position focuses on achieving sales, volume, and profitability targets for regional key accounts, including major clients like Walmart, Sam’s Club, and Mercado Libre.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and distribution partners
- →Achieve volume and distribution objectives for assigned customers
- →Ensure correct implementation of annual Joint Business Planning actions
- →Maintain proper stock levels with customers
- →Align pricing and promotions with key stakeholders to maintain profitability
- →Analyze data sources to identify growth opportunities
- →Plan sales forecasts and prepare trade spend budgets
- →Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
- →Develop annual business and promotion plans
- →Conduct yearly negotiations with key customers
- →Track investments and visibility negotiations
- →Research customer needs to develop mutually beneficial programs
- →Build cross-functional relationships with Trade Marketing, field teams, and customer support
Requirements
- ✓Proven experience in key account management, preferably in the beverage or consumer goods industry
- ✓Strong understanding of retail KPIs, portals, and e-commerce metrics
- ✓Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
- ✓Ability to analyze market data and identify business opportunities
- ✓Strategic thinking with attention to detail
- ✓Leadership experience in driving sales initiatives
- ✓Knowledge of annual business planning processes
- ✓Experience working with major retailers like Walmart and Sam’s Club
- ✓Strong communication and presentation skills
