Weβre looking for a hungry, high-output Business Development Representative who thrives in autonomy and is driven to win. This role is for someone who doesnβt wait for direction β you create your own momentum, execute relentlessly, and treat pipeline generation like a craft.
As a BDR at Hive, your mission is simple: create qualified opportunities for our Account Executives by consistently generating high-quality meetings through modern outbound strategies.

WHAT YOUβLL DO
Generate pipeline through high-volume outbound
- Execute daily outbound prospecting across phone, email, LinkedIn, and emerging channels
- Consistently meet and exceed activity targets to generate new qualified meetings
- Build targeted prospect lists and identify high-potential accounts in the live events ecosystem
Leverage modern AI tools to scale intelligent outreach
- Use AI-driven tools to research prospects, personalize messaging, and optimize outreach sequences
- Continuously experiment with new tools, workflows, and automation to increase efficiency and response rates
- Bring new ideas and best practices to the team as outbound technology evolves
Qualify and convert interest into meetings
- Engage prospects in thoughtful conversations to understand their current marketing stack and challenges
- Identify opportunities where Hiveβs platform can drive measurable impact
- Schedule high-quality discovery meetings for Account Executives
Operate with ownership and autonomy
- Manage your own pipeline generation strategy and activity rhythm
- Track outreach and performance metrics with discipline in CRM
- Take full accountability for your results and continuously improve your approach
Collaborate to improve our go-to-market engine
- Partner closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Leadership to refine messaging and targeting
- Share learnings from the front lines to improve outbound strategies and playbooks
- Contribute to building a world-class outbound motion

COMP/BENEFIT PACKAGE:
- Uncapped earning potential. The compensation structure for this role:
- $60,000 annual base, $25,000 variable pay, for an on-target-earning potential of $85,000.
- Work fully remotely in Canada: Where you are most productive whether that be from your house, or elsewhere. We just ask that you are located in Canada and have the legal work authorization. Unfortunately, we are unable to hire within Quebec, Canada at this time.
