About the Role
We are looking for a Content Marketing Intern to join Relay, a digital banking platform for self-made business owners. This role will support Relay’s editorial, educational, and thought leadership content across various platforms, helping small business owners better understand their finances.
Key Responsibilities
- →Support the planning, drafting, editing, and publishing of content across Relay’s blog, resource library, newsletters, and campaigns
- →Assist with transforming existing materials into clear, problem-led editorial content
- →Help prepare content for publication, including formatting, internal linking, metadata, CTA placement, and basic SEO best practices
- →Conduct research to support content creation, including competitor analysis, topic research, and source gathering
- →Assist with content QA and fact-checking
- →Help maintain content calendars, documentation, and workflows
- →Contribute to content performance tracking by gathering and organizing metrics
- →Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure content is accurate, aligned, and on-brand
- →Pitch ideas for new content topics, formats, or improvements
Requirements
- ✓Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field
- ✓Enjoy writing and editing, and are excited to develop your voice and craft in a professional setting
- ✓Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple projects at once
- ✓Curious by default—you like understanding why things work and how ideas connect
- ✓Comfortable working with feedback and revising your work accordingly
- ✓Strong written communication skills and eager to continue improving them
- ✓Interested in content, storytelling, and how education can drive trust and growth for small businesses
