About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team at Relay, a digital banking platform for self-made business owners. This role involves scaling our data ecosystem as the company enters a new phase of growth, ensuring teams have access to the right data for decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- →Construct data models via DBT in our Snowflake data warehouse
- →Ensure technology and processes scale as Relay grows
- →Create data tools, workflows, and APIs for other technical teams
- →Work with stakeholders on data-related technical issues
- →Build systems to track core KPIs
- →Collaborate with Trust, Security, and Governance teams to maintain data safety
Requirements
- ✓3+ years of Data Engineering experience
- ✓Advanced SQL knowledge
- ✓Experience with scripting languages (Python, Java, or Javascript)
- ✓Familiarity with cloud computing and data warehouse platforms
- ✓Experience with business intelligence tools
- ✓History of working with large datasets
- ✓Ability to execute independently with cross-functional input
- ✓Adaptability to handle change in a startup environment
