About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join Relay, a digital banking platform for self-made business owners. You'll play a key role in designing tools that bring clarity and confidence to small business finances, directly impacting how entrepreneurs make decisions for their businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own design end-to-end: from discovery and problem framing through prototyping to polished, production-ready designs
- →Raise the craft bar: Create elegant, intuitive, and aesthetically refined interfaces for banking
- →Tell the story: Communicate design rationale through storytelling and artifacts
- →Be a design leader: Give and solicit feedback, mentor peers, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of experience in product design with a track record of shipping impactful work
- ✓Experience designing SaaS products
- ✓Strong visual sensibility and thoughtful UX design skills
- ✓Ability to advocate for design principles and explain rationale clearly
- ✓End-to-end design process ownership
- ✓Rigorous approach to design using research, analysis, and iteration
- ✓User-centered mindset balancing customer needs with business goals
- ✓Comfort with complex systems and simplifying them
- ✓Experience with both generative and evaluative research
- ✓Clear communication of design decisions
- ✓Experimentation with AI tools for prototyping or user-facing experiences
