About the Role
We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our distributed team at Remote. This role involves working on building tools, APIs and integrations for our products, contributing to a global HR platform that helps businesses navigate international employment.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead the development of small issues and projects
- →Participate in product work by suggesting ideas and communicating with stakeholders
- →Provide feedback on code reviews within the team
- →Contribute to the shared codebase
- →Debug and solve issues in projects
- →Participate in non-team activities like support rotations and RFC discussions
- →Suggest and implement improvements to our platform
- →Design and implement APIs with performance, scalability, and maintainability in mind
Requirements
- ✓Significant experience as a Backend Engineer working with Elixir
- ✓Experience with Postgres (or similar)
- ✓CI/CD experience (GitLab, Github, Jenkins or similar)
- ✓Nice to have: Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Nextjs, React/Vue/Angular
