Position Overview:
Weβre looking for a reliable, tech-savvy IT Support Specialist to own day-to-day IT operations for our fully remote team all over the globe. This is a part-time contractor role - perfect for an experienced IT professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative without being asked, and gets things done with minimal oversight. If youβre proactive, sharp, and take pride in keeping things running smoothly, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Manage user accounts, access rights, and permissions across Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian/Jira, NetSuite, HubSpot, and other SaaS tools
β’ Own IT onboarding and offboarding end-to-end: account setup, access provisioning, device preparation, and account deactivation/wipe for leavers
β’ Provide responsive first-line IT support to employees across diverse time zones - troubleshoot hardware, software, and SaaS issues efficiently
β’ Administer and maintain NetSuite user access, roles, and basic configurations in coordination with the finance team
β’ Together with HR team maintain and track IT asset inventory (laptops, accessories, software licenses)
β’ Monitor license usage across tools, identify inefficiencies, and flag cost-saving opportunities
β’ Keep IT documentation accurate and up to date: how-tos, access maps, onboarding/offboarding checklists
β’ Escalate complex technical issues to relevant vendors or senior technical contacts promptly
Key Qualifications:
β’ 3+ years of experience in IT support, IT administration, or a similar hands-on role
β’ Solid experience with Google Workspace admin (user management, groups, permissions, security settings)
β’ Comfortable managing access across multiple SaaS platforms simultaneously
β’ Excellent written and spoken English - clear, professional, and concise communication is essential
β’ Highly responsive and reliable - you follow through, meet deadlines, and proactively flag issues before they escalate
β’ Strong troubleshooting mindset - you research, test, and resolve independently without waiting to be guided
β’ Experience supporting a remote-first or SaaS company that operates globally across diverse time-zones
β’ Organized and detail-oriented with a low-noise, high-output working style
Nice to have:
β’ Experience with Slack admin, Atlassian/Jira administration, NetSuit or HubSpot
β’ Familiarity with MDM tools (Jamf, Kandji, or similar) for remote device management
β’ Basic understanding of IT security principles and access governance
β’ Exposure to compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001) is a plus
