About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Design Expert to join our Advanced SOCs and MCUs Flows & Methodologies team. This role requires hands-on experience and a robust understanding of physical design processes.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop and define Physical Design methodology for advanced SOCs, MCUs, and IP level objectives across various geometry nodes (3/5/16/22nm)
- →Define tools and flows requirements for Place & Route, UPF, Formal Verification, Floorplan & Power-Plan
- →Review and evaluate latest tools and flows offerings from EDA vendors
- →Collaborate with EDA vendors to resolve blocking issues
- →Implement new tools and methodologies across the organization
Requirements
- ✓6-10 years of hands-on experience in Physical Design including UPF, Formal & Physical verification, floorplan, power-plan, Place & Route
- ✓Proven experience in delivering physical implementation closure methodology ensuring timing & physical convergence
- ✓Experience with Synopsys & Cadence tool sets (Fusion Compiler, Innovus)
- ✓Knowledge of low geometry node issues and working with EDA teams
- ✓Experience in customizing flows & methodology for low power & area objectives
- ✓Strong scripting skills in PERL, TCL, and Python for Automation and Flow development
- ✓Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail
