About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Tactical Command & Control (C2) line of business at Research Innovations, Inc. This role involves building mission-critical software supporting Defense and Homeland Security customers, working with high-volume, real-time operational data.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices using modern frameworks
- →Build and manage containerized applications using Docker
- →Design, develop, and maintain a large-scale enterprise React application
- →Write high-quality unit and integration tests
- →Support system integration, testing, and validation
- →Assist with cyber hardening for security compliance
- →Develop and maintain internal tools
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical problems
- →Improve code quality, performance, and maintainability
- →Deliver results in fast-moving, mission-driven environments
Requirements
- ✓6+ years of professional software development experience
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- ✓Experience with Spring Java framework and ReactJS or Angular
- ✓Knowledge of RESTful APIs and WebSockets
- ✓Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Gradle, Node.js, Docker
- ✓Experience in Linux-based environments
- ✓Contributions to team-based software projects
