About the Role
ZΕ«m is seeking a dynamic Operations Recruiter to manage high-volume hiring for hourly school bus operations roles across multiple locations. This role will drive efficient recruiting processes and ensure a positive candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
- βOwn the full recruitment cycle for hourly school bus operations roles across multiple locations.
- βBuild and execute high-volume recruiting strategies to meet location staffing goals.
- βPartner with location leadership to understand staffing needs and adjust recruiting plans accordingly.
- βCreate and optimize job descriptions and postings to attract qualified candidates.
- βUse applicant tracking systems and other recruiting tools to manage the recruitment process.
- βConduct initial screens to assess work history, availability, and skills.
- βCoordinate interviews and manage schedules for both candidates and managers.
- βInitiate and track pre-employment requirements and communicate status to candidates and managers.
- βOrganize and participate in hiring events and community outreach.
- βMonitor recruiting metrics and share regular updates with operations leaders.
- βMaintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
Requirements
- βBachelorβs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- β2+ years of experience in high-volume recruiting, preferably for hourly or field-based roles.
- βHands-on experience with applicant tracking systems and online recruiting tools.
- βProven ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities at once while meeting tight deadlines.
- βStrong understanding of employment laws and recruiting best practices.
- βStrong communication and relationship-building skills with both candidates and hiring managers.
- βHighly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a metric-driven environment.
