We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Q2C Functional Consultant to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Quote-to-Cash processes on the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in CPQ, Billing, and end-to-end revenue lifecycle management, with strong stakeholder management and business analysis skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. SOLUTION DESIGN & IMPLEMENTATION
- Lead end-to-end design of Salesforce Quote-to-Cash solutions (CPQ, Billing, Contracts, Orders, Invoicing).
- Translate business requirements into scalable functional solutions.
- Configure Salesforce CPQ (pricing rules, product bundles, discounting, approvals).
- Design and implement billing processes including invoicing, subscriptions, and revenue recognition.
2. BUSINESS ANALYSIS & STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT
- Work closely with business stakeholders (Sales, Finance, Operations) to gather requirements.
- Conduct workshops and discovery sessions.
- Provide strategic recommendations for process improvements.
3. PROCESS OPTIMIZATION
- Identify gaps in current Quote-to-Cash processes and propose improvements.
- Ensure alignment with best practices for subscription and usage-based models.
- Drive automation and efficiency across the revenue lifecycle.
4. INTEGRATION & DATA FLOW
- Collaborate with technical teams on integrations (ERP, payment gateways, tax engines).
- Ensure seamless data flow between Salesforce and downstream systems.
5. TESTING & DEPLOYMENT
- Define test strategies (UAT, SIT).
- Support release management and deployment activities.
- Ensure high-quality delivery with minimal defects.
6. LEADERSHIP & MENTORING
- Mentor junior consultants and business analysts.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Q2C processes.
- Lead client discussions and solution walkthroughs.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCE
- 6β10+ years of Salesforce experience.
- 4+ years working specifically on Quote-to-Cash implementations.
- Proven experience with Salesforce CPQ and Billing.
FUNCTIONAL EXPERTISE
- Strong understanding of:
- Pricing strategies (discounting, tiered pricing, subscriptions)
- Contract lifecycle management
- Order management
- Billing and invoicing
- Revenue recognition principles
SALESFORCE SKILLS
- Deep hands-on experience with:
- Salesforce CPQ configuration
- Product catalog setup
- Pricing rules & approval workflows
- Familiarity with Salesforce Billing (preferred)
CERTIFICATIONS (PREFERRED)
- Salesforce CPQ Specialist
- Salesforce Administrator / Advanced Administrator
- Salesforce Billing Specialist (good to have)
SOFT SKILLS
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Ability to lead workshops and client discussions
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with subscription-based business models (SaaS)
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
- Agile/Scrum experience
- Exposure to integrations (REST/SOAP APIs)
EDUCATION
- Bachelorβs degree in Engineering, Business, IT, or related field
- MBA (optional but preferred)
