About the Role
We are looking for a Compliance Analyst to join the Global Compliance Team at Bitstamp by Robinhood. This role focuses on contributing to company-wide cornerstones of security, transparency, and regulation to bring safe and reliable access to crypto for all customers.
Key Responsibilities
- →Work closely with the Manager of Testing and Monitoring and Chief Compliance Officers in the oversight and implementation of the compliance testing and monitoring program.
- →Ensure effective policies, processes, and procedures are in place to meet Company’s Compliance, Risk, Internal Control and Control Objectives.
- →Define, implement, and update an exhaustive Compliance Testing and Monitoring Plan.
- →Perform compliance testing assignments to assess compliance with regulatory obligations and controls’ suitability.
- →Maintain issues and remediation-related information in a central repository.
- →Track and validate the implementation of remediation plans.
- →Ensure methodologies for risk assessments are up to date and aligned with the overall risk appetite of the business.
- →Engage with governing bodies, officers, and staff to share best practices and clarify compliance concerns.
- →Collaborate with other governance team members on internal & external control testing programs.
Requirements
- ✓Master’s Degree, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial services compliance roles or audit roles.
- ✓Strong interest or experience in the crypto industry.
- ✓Working knowledge of laws, regulations, and risk management practices for financial services.
- ✓Strong project management and organizational skills.
- ✓Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- ✓Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- ✓Autonomous, proactive, and hands-on with the ability to prioritize and manage own work effectively.
- ✓Relevant Compliance certifications or recognized professional certifications in Compliance (such as CAMS) is a plus.
