About the Role
We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join the Bitstamp Cloud Engineering team, responsible for designing, maintaining, and scaling AWS infrastructure for our global crypto exchange. This role will support high-volume trading systems and ensure platform performance as we scale globally.
Key Responsibilities
- →Manage and troubleshoot AWS services including EC2, ECS, Aurora, and DynamoDB
- →Contribute to infrastructure projects aligning Bitstamp systems with Robinhood’s global platform architecture
- →Identify manual operational processes and implement automation using infrastructure-as-code
- →Monitor database and compute capacity, adjusting configurations to support platform growth
- →Participate in on-call rotation, diagnosing and resolving production issues
Requirements
- ✓2–3+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering within AWS environments
- ✓Practical experience with EC2, ECS, and database technologies such as Aurora and DynamoDB
- ✓Structured troubleshooting methods and data analysis to resolve moderately complex infrastructure issues
- ✓Ability to balance operational responsibilities with incremental automation improvements
- ✓Clear communication of technical concepts and effective collaboration with engineering teams
