About the Role
We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our Data Science & Analytics organization at Roblox. This role focuses on improving app performance across multiple devices by defining KPIs, measuring impact, and leveraging analytics to influence decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Define and measure success metrics for App performance
- →Establish understanding of trade-offs between different performance levers
- →Access, transform, analyze, and present raw data
- →Operationalize and scale metrics monitoring
- →Use A/B experiments and causal inference methods to evaluate feature launches
- →Navigate ambiguity and work with stakeholders across various organizations
Requirements
- ✓Advanced degree or equivalent experience in Statistics, Applied Math, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or related field
- ✓5+ years of industry experience in data science, preferably with app and system performance
- ✓Strong experience with large datasets and proficiency in SQL, R/Python, and data visualization tools
- ✓Deep knowledge of statistical methods, causal inference techniques, and experimental design
- ✓Ability to drive an area as an individual contributor and thought leader
- ✓Ability to apply creative, first-principles reasoning to solve ambiguous problems
- ✓Strong communication skills to present analytics results and data storytelling effectively
