About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our User Safety team at Roblox. This role focuses on designing and building large-scale systems for abuse reporting to keep our platform safe and civil.
Key Responsibilities
- βBuild large-scale services for intaking, enriching, routing, and decisioning abuse reports
- βWork closely with UX design, research, data science, and product managers to improve the efficacy of abuse reporting
- βHelp evolve our moderation infrastructure to meet new safety and compliance requirements
- βLeverage ML to tackle difficult problems at scale
- βCollaborate with a high-performing, diverse, and energetic cross-functional product engineering team
Requirements
- β6+ years of experience with scalable infrastructure and distributed systems
- β6+ years of experience in Golang/C++/C#/Java or similar languages
- βExperience with modern microservice architecture
- βCapability and willingness to serve as both a product engineer and platform role with internal partners
- βInterest in Safety systems
- βA growth mindset
- βPreferred - Experience with the Trust & Safety domain
- βPreferred - Experience with AI/ML at scale
