About the Role
We are looking for a Security Engineer to join our Trust engineering team at Roku. This role involves supporting the design, implementation, and management of Roku’s end-to-end security systems and controls for a global user base.
Key Responsibilities
- →Support the development of security controls and manage SIEM/SOAR tooling and threat intelligence platforms
- →Handle technical incident response, vulnerability management, and risk assessment
- →Act as a first point of contact for the future outsourced Tier 1 SOC function
- →Collaborate with teams across the organization to develop and influence security practices
Requirements
- ✓Strong understanding of SIEM, EDR, cloud security services, and various security technologies
- ✓Experience in automation and development of playbooks in SOAR environments
- ✓Experience in creating incident response plans and leading incident response efforts
- ✓Knowledge of threat intelligence, TTPs, and mitigation strategies
- ✓Experience in vulnerability management, reporting, and stakeholder engagement
- ✓Strong understanding of network security principles and encryption technologies
- ✓Experience in security change management processes and procedures
- ✓Experience in risk assessment and advisory capabilities
- ✓Experience in developing and managing security policies and procedures
- ✓Strong knowledge of security frameworks like ISO 270001, NIST, PCI-DSS
- ✓Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- ✓Effective communication and collaborative skills
