About the Role
We are seeking an Information Security Engineer to join our strategic banking/fintech project. This role focuses on implementing and managing security systems within banking infrastructure, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining robust security operations.
Key Responsibilities
- →Install, configure, and operate security systems including Firewall, IPS/IDS, DDoS, Antivirus, and Web Gateway
- →Monitor daily operations of security devices, analyze alarms and events, and take necessary actions
- →Manage rule sets, policies, and access controls related to system and network security
- →Detect security vulnerabilities, conduct risk analyses, and implement remediation measures
- →Respond to security incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and generate reports
- →Ensure compliance with banking regulations (BDDK, KVKK, ISO 27001) and internal security policies
- →Collaborate with system and network teams to contribute to secure architecture designs
- →Support system security requirements in disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity processes
- →Prepare and maintain logs, reports, and documentation for security products
- →Manage technical communication with third-party vendors and security service providers
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer, Communication, or related engineering fields
- ✓Minimum 3 years of experience in system security
- ✓Experience with security solutions such as Firewall, IPS/IDS, DDoS protection systems, and Antivirus
- ✓Knowledge of network and system security principles including NAT, VPN, segmentation, and access control
- ✓Experience in log management, alarm monitoring, and security event analysis
- ✓Ability to adapt to the working discipline of highly regulated institutions (banking, finance, telecom)
- ✓Strong communication skills with learning agility and ability to express ideas clearly
- ✓Professional communication with all stakeholders, being clear, concise, and persuasive
- ✓Ability to detect and solve problems at early stages
- ✓Support team in creating higher quality and sustainable products while offering practical solutions
- ✓Ability to guide technical and non-technical discussions to positive outcomes
- ✓Quickly understand team, task, or customer issues and collaborate with managers to resolve them
- ✓Exercise sound judgment when solving problems
