About the Role
We are looking for a Finance Manager to join Root, where financial clarity creates freedom for both clients and the firm. This is a strategic role that goes beyond bookkeeping, focusing on shaping decisions and managing the internal financial engine as Root scales.
Key Responsibilities
- →Oversee the monthly close process and ensure financial accuracy across systems
- →Partner with department leaders to set annual budgets and track performance
- →Forecast cash flow and proactively manage liquidity
- →Develop and maintain executive-level financial dashboards
- →Build financial models for revenue, profitability, and growth
- →Prepare concise financial briefs for executive meetings
- →Strengthen approval workflows and financial thresholds
- →Maintain audit readiness and documentation hygiene
Requirements
- ✓Experience as a Finance Manager, Senior Analyst, or similar role in a growing professional services firm
- ✓Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities
- ✓Ability to build structure in a scaling environment
- ✓High judgment, ownership mindset, and attention to detail
- ✓Clear communication skills to translate financial results into decisions
