About the Role
We are looking for a collaborative Game Developer to join Ruby, our fast-moving studio in Izmir. This role involves working in an agile, cross-functional team where your technical insights will shape everything from initial prototypes to the final polish of a global release.
Key Responsibilities
- →Bring features to life by collaborating closely with designers, artists, and product teams from concept to final polish.
- →Craft the core experience by implementing and maintaining gameplay systems, including controls, abilities, and moment-to-moment mechanics.
- →Build the "meta" by developing features like progression systems, game economies, and live events that keep players coming back.
- →Ensure peak performance through debugging, profiling, and optimizing the game to run smoothly across all devices and network conditions.
- →Contribute to the big picture by sharing ideas and technical insights across the full game experience.
- →Support your teammates through code reviews and shared ownership, ensuring high-quality code and scalability.
Requirements
- ✓Experience on building and shipping mobile games with a natural feel for what makes a great user experience.
- ✓Strong programming skills in C# and deep experience working within the Unity engine.
- ✓A deep understanding of game architecture, SOLID principles, and modern software development practices.
- ✓Proficiency at finding and fixing bugs while tuning performance to make the game as fast as possible.
- ✓Proactive communicator who enjoys sharing ideas and working in a cross-functional team.
- ✓Experience with at least one Unity dependency injection framework.
- ✓Fluency in Turkish and English.
