About the Role
We are looking for a NAS Product Line Specialist Sales Engineer to join Rubrik's sales organization. This role involves providing technical direction and business guidance to the regional sales team, helping companies and government entities achieve resilience against cyberattacks and operational disruptions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Provide technical leadership and direction to Rubrik, customers, and prospects in the development and positioning of Rubrik's NAS Cloud Direct product
- →Serve as a trusted technology advisor to customers and a public cloud subject matter expert when positioning Rubrik's NAS Cloud capabilities
- →Lead technical sales calls, gather and analyze customer feedback, and identify trends
- →Qualify sales opportunities in terms of customer technical requirements, competition, decision-making process, and funding
- →Maintain a consistent cadence with product management to ensure product roadmap alignment with customer demands
- →Assist with the development of marketing and sales collateral to ensure alignment with customer needs and technical accuracy
- →Aid in the development and delivery of technical enablement to Rubrik, channel, and alliance partner sales architects
- →Cross-functionally drive the adoption of Rubrik's cloud native protection technologies throughout Rubrik and the public cloud ecosystem
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of sales engineering experience in an unstructured data environment with a proven track record of success
- ✓Experience with NAS, unstructured data, private cloud infrastructure, and/or security solutions
- ✓Fundamental breadth of technical knowledge in cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery, and data analytics
- ✓High level of business acumen and experience working with Cx0 level personnel
- ✓Driven, entrepreneurial, and adaptable with a strong hands-on approach
- ✓Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple calls/demos per day with immediate follow-up
