About the Role
We are looking for a Director of Hardware Product Operations to join Samsara’s Operations organization. In this role, you will lead the team responsible for successful hardware launches, ensuring cost, resilience, and supply chain enablement for new hardware products.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead the team with responsibility for successful hardware launches within the Ops organization
- →Partner with Hardware & Operations team members to maintain schedule and ensure successful ramp to mass production
- →Be the key relationship owner with external joint development manufacturers (JDMs)
- →Build and maintain a system that continues to build rigor in cost, resilience, and sustainability goals
- →Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles as we scale globally
- →Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high performing team
Requirements
- ✓10+ years of experience in hardware sourcing, procurement, supply chain or a related field
- ✓Proven experience managing new product launches within an operations organization
- ✓Established people/team management skills with emerging organizational leadership skills
- ✓Experience building long-term relationships with key customers (internal and external)
- ✓Ability to plan strategy and roadmap for the next 1-2 years
