About the Role
The Product Owner Team Leader drives operational readiness and product lifecycle management across multiple products. This role leads cross-functional teams and ensures successful development and manufacturing ramp-up of new and existing products.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead a cross-functional POM team and serve as the primary Operations representative throughout the product lifecycle
- →Make decisions and commitments on behalf of Operations in Product Line Core Team and Product Development Team meetings
- →Develop, manage, and execute qualification plans, including engineering samples and qualification builds
- →Partner with Supply Chain Planning, Procurement, Sales Operations, and Factory teams to support product development and manufacturing ramp-up
- →Ensure Low Volume Manufacturing and production readiness across key operational functions
- →Oversee Bill of Materials accuracy and SKU management requirements
- →Maintain and update internal systems to reflect NPI/engineering demand, assembly instructions, build requirements, and engineering sample plans
- →Lead continuous improvement initiatives to advance operational modeling, automation, and cost-reduction opportunities
- →Manage multiple concurrent projects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
Requirements
- ✓Experience leading cross-functional teams in product development and manufacturing environments
- ✓Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and operational readiness processes
- ✓Ability to make strategic decisions and commitments in cross-functional team settings
- ✓Knowledge of supply chain planning, procurement, and manufacturing processes
- ✓Experience with Bill of Materials management and SKU optimization
- ✓Proficiency in using internal systems for tracking and managing product development activities
- ✓Demonstrated leadership in continuous improvement initiatives
- ✓Excellent collaboration and communication skills
