About the Role
We are looking for a Validation Engineer to join Sandisk, Inc. This role involves leading validation activities for RPG Products portfolio and driving product validation for various market segments.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead validation activities on RPG Products portfolio
- →Define Test Plan/Design, test cases and develop Test Scripts to validate RPG products
- →Drive product validation of all retail products for different market segments
- →Drive all validation functions including Platform compatibility, power and performance, reliability, regulatory and safety compliance
- →Work with systems architecture team to define validation architecture and test plan
- →Collaborate with test development and automation team to define requirements for tools and automation test environment
- →Demonstrate skills in understanding Firmware areas such as Front End, Back end/Media management, FTL or Security
- →Exhibit competency in understanding NVMe/PCIe specifications and customer specific requirements
- →Work with Firmware development teams to find defects and validate fixes
- →Communicate status, issues, concerns, and strategies of programs and projects
- →Collaborate with others to achieve goals and task completion
- →Review, track and document test results and sightings
- →Drive issues to closure by interfacing with other product development teams
Requirements
- ✓Experience in validation activities on RPG Products portfolio
- ✓Knowledge of Test Plan Design, test cases, and Test Scripts
- ✓Understanding of USB, SD, nVME protocols
- ✓Experience in Platform compatibility, power and performance, reliability, regulatory and safety compliance
- ✓Familiarity with Firmware areas such as Front End, Back end/Media management, FTL or Security
- ✓Understanding of NVMe/PCIe specifications
- ✓Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with others
- ✓Experience in reviewing, tracking, and documenting test results
- ✓Ability to drive issues to closure by interfacing with other product development teams
