The Role:
As a Senior Product Designer for Family Office, you'll take on one of the most complex and rewarding challenges in fintech - - reimagining the infrastructure that connects advisors, clients, and the custodial institutions that hold their assets. You'll own the workflows where our platform meets legacy financial systems, and your job won't be to accept those constraints. It will be your responsibility to challenge them and find elegant design solutions that abstract away institutional complexity and deliver seamless experiences to advisors and their clients. Beyond integration, you'll shape the vision for a comprehensive family office suite, designing how multi-generational wealth, entity structures, and sophisticated account hierarchies come together in a single, cohesive platform. This role is for a designer who thrives at the intersection of systems thinking. user empathy, and service design β someone who sees an archaic industry not as a limitation, but as an opportunity to define what modern wealth infrastructure should look like.
This is a high-ownership, high-impact role. You will lead complex initiatives end-to-end, from discovery through execution, while collaborating closely with product, engineering, operations, and advisors. You will design across multiple touchpoints and systems, not just screens, ensuring our product reflects the full service experience behind it.
The ideal candidate is a systems thinker who thrives in ambiguity, understands complex service environments, and is excited to push the craft forward, especially by integrating AI into their design workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Design complex end-to-end experiences
- Partner with Product Management and own major initiatives from research and discovery through high-fidelity execution and launch
- Design across multiple user types (advisors, clients, operations) and ensure solutions account for downstream workflows and service realities.
- Optimize for the service, not just the surface β designing with operational clarity, advisor workflows, and client communication in mind.
- Identify opportunities where AI can meaningfully enhance the product experience.
- Bring human signals into the product
- Design high-trust experiences for sensitive financial moments such as onboarding, account transfers, and money movement.
- Prioritize advisor presence, personalization, and clarity during moments of uncertainty or risk.
- Apply and evolve design patterns thoughtfully
- Leverage Savvyβs design system and established interaction patterns to create cohesive experiences.
- Extend or adapt patterns when complex workflows or AI-driven features require clearer or more innovative solutions.
- Actively incorporate AI tools into your workflow to accelerate exploration, prototyping, research synthesis, and iteration.
- Research and discovery
- Conduct user research with financial advisors and internal stakeholders using appropriate methods (i.e user interviews, surveys, card sorting, etc).
- Translate research insights into clear product recommendations and design decisions.
- Partner with product and engineering to define scope and priorities.

Must Have:
- You have 5-7 years of experience in product design, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Youβre excited about integrating AI tools into your design workflow and building AI-powered product experiences
- You have experience designing complex systems or service-oriented products with multiple user types
- You are an owner, have excellent problem-solving skills, and can prioritize tasks effectively with strong attention to detail.
- You pride yourself in strong interaction design, systems thinking, and information architecture skills
- You're a skilled communicator with the ability to absorb and distill complexity and drive decision-making.
- You love backing your work with research, knowing that research pays dividends in translating insights into product decisions
