This role is open to candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Please note that as this role supports U.S.-based clients, candidates must be available to work during U.S. business hours aligned with the clientβs time zone.

ROLE OVERVIEW
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be responsible for engaging inbound leads, discussing upcoming roofing and construction projects, and gathering key information to support the early stages of the sales process. This role requires strong conversational ability, thoughtful questioning, and a personalized approach to lead engagement, including pre-call research to ensure each interaction is relevant and client-focused.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
LEAD ENGAGEMENT & CONVERSATION MANAGEMENT
- Handle inbound calls from leads, discussing roofing and construction projects, answering questions, and gathering key project details.
- Establish rapport through natural and friendly conversations that help leads feel comfortable and valued.
- Provide initial information about services, pricing, and timelines to help clients understand available solutions.
- Gather customer details such as project scope, location, and specific requirements for internal handoff.
MARKET RESEARCH & LEAD PREPARATION
- Conduct market research before calls, including reviewing property details through Google Earth and related sources.
- Use research findings to personalize conversations and demonstrate understanding of each leadβs situation.
CUSTOMER INFORMATION COLLECTION
- Collect and record customer information accurately for internal follow-up.
- Qualify leads based on interest level, project needs, and readiness to move forward.
FOLLOW-UP & PERSISTENCE
- Maintain proactive follow-up to ensure leads remain engaged and are not overlooked.
- Track all lead interactions in the CRM system and maintain accurate records of communication.
COLLABORATION & REPORTING
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure smooth handoff of qualified leads.
- Provide regular updates on call activity, lead quality, and relevant insights from client conversations.
QUALIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCE
- 1+ year of experience in sales, customer service, or another client-facing role.
SKILLS
- Fluent English communication skills with the ability to engage clients in a professional and friendly way.
- Strong ability to build rapport quickly and maintain natural conversations by phone.
- Excellent research skills, including preparing for calls through relevant market and property review.
- Proficiency with basic office tools such as Google Earth and CRM systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate data tracking.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while maintaining service quality.
- Resilient, persistent, and comfortable handling rejection professionally.
- Proactive and solution-oriented approach to follow-up and lead nurturing.
- Strong interpersonal skills that make each lead feel heard and valued.
