Scopely is looking for a Senior Engineer, Web/Fullstack to join our WWE Champions team in the United States or Canada on a remote basis.

What You Will Do
• Architect and implement high-impact full-stack web features end-to-end using modern technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver scalable and high-quality web experiences
• Improve and optimize existing tools, systems, and features to accelerate development velocity
• Debug and resolve technical issues across frontend, backend, and infrastructure layers
• Ensure the codebase remains well-structured, maintainable, and well documented
• Participate in technical planning, including task estimation and writing technical design documents
• Contribute to code reviews and knowledge sharing within the engineering organization
• Work closely with cross-disciplinary teams to help execute the product vision
What We're Looking For
• 3–5 years of experience in full-stack development with Next.js and React for frontend, and NestJS and Node.js for backend services
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Tailwind CSS
• Solid understanding of modern web development fundamentals, including Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Static Site Generation (SSG)
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, or Redis
• Experience with modern frontend tooling and package management (e.g. Webpack, pnpm, yarn)
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest
• Experience deploying or hosting applications on AWS or similar cloud platforms
• Strong experience with Git
• Proven ability to debug, maintain, and refactor complex systems
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication skills in English
Bonus Points
• Experience with caching systems such as Redis or Memcached
• Experience with frontend state management libraries like React query and Zustand
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Github actions
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful API design
• Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with frontend game development using Unity and C#

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
