As a Senior Account Executive, Strategic Accounts, North America at ScorePlay, you will drive our expansion with leagues, federations, broadcasters, and major sports organizations across the region. This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role for a proven enterprise closer who wants to build an entire region.
ScorePlay already has enterprise logos, a strong active pipeline, and real momentum in North America. You'll inherit live opportunities from day one, with a clear mandate to close strategic deals and scale the US sales motion. We're backed by top-tier investors with significant growth plans ahead, and this role sits at the center of our growth story.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Sales Execution & Strategic Deal Closing
- Own the full sales cycle - prospecting through negotiation and contract execution - with a focus on enterprise deals $200K+.
- Manage a portfolio of 4-5 high-value accounts per year, each requiring deep strategic engagement and multi-stakeholder navigation.
- Develop and execute account strategies to expand ScorePlay's footprint within sports leagues, federations, broadcasters, and governing bodies.
- Consistently achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records in the CRM system.
2. Pipeline Development & Relationship Management
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the sports ecosystem.
- Build and nurture executive-level relationships with decision-makers at leagues, federations, and strategic partners.
- Leverage your network - and build new relationships - to generate referrals and expand ScorePlay's presence in strategic accounts.
- Represent ScorePlay at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to strengthen visibility and credibility in the sports sector.
3. Team Building & Regional Leadership
- Build the US Strategic Accounts team. You'll join as the senior individual contributor, recruit a team of 2+ reps, and continue to scale toward a 6-person US sales team (matching our European structure).
- Coach and develop junior team members as the team grows.
- Partner with leadership to define go-to-market strategy for the US market.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with customer success, marketing, and product teams to ensure client needs are met and exceeded.
- Share actionable market insights to influence product roadmap, marketing positioning, and customer engagement strategies.
- Partner with marketing and product teams to create tailored collateral, proposals, and presentations for strategic sports clients.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven success in Enterprise B2B sales, with a strong track record of closing large-scale deals ($200K+). Experience in sports, media, or technology is a plus - but not required if you bring strong enterprise sales fundamentals from SaaS.
- Genuine passion for the sports industry is non-negotiable. You don't need to come from a sports company, but you need to care deeply about this space.
- Sharp, curious, and technically capable : you can quickly understand a complex product and articulate its value to senior stakeholders.
- Strategic and results-driven mindset, with the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and secure long-term partnerships.
- Hungry and self-starting, comfortable building pipeline in a high-growth environment where you own the outcome.
This position is on site with travel to client sites. Weβre looking for someone based in NYC (offices in Williamsburg).

Compensation:
- Base Salary: $165,000-170,000
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): $300,000+
- Realistic upside for top performers: $500,000+
- Uncapped Commission: No ceiling on what you can earn.
