About the Role
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our Accounting EKOT team at SEB. This role involves strengthening our accounting solution team with expertise in mainframe development and modernization, ensuring the smooth running of SEB's financial systems.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and implement RESTful APIs
- →Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers
- →Collaborate with product team on technical requirements
- →Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications
- →Maintain smooth operations, including on-call duties
- →Collaborate with team members to discuss ideas and implement new features
- →Investigate new tools and ways of working to improve the team and organization
Requirements
- ✓Several years of experience as a mainframe developer
- ✓Experience with both back-end and front-end development
- ✓Strong knowledge in mainframe development technologies and languages such as COBOL, JCL, IMS, OPC, Easytrieve, SQL, REXX
- ✓Knowledge in programming languages such as JavaScript, C#, Python or similar
- ✓Preferable knowledge in front-end frameworks such as React or similar
- ✓Experience with databases such as DB2
- ✓Experience in design, implementation, testing, and deployment (CI/CD)
- ✓Cloud technologies, GitHub, and GitHub CoPilot for coding
- ✓Basic knowledge in account management is a plus
- ✓Good communication skills in English
- ✓Experience working with DevOps guidelines
- ✓Ability to work both individually and collaboratively with stakeholders or vendors
- ✓Comfortable working in a mainframe environment and open to working with front-end solutions.
