About the Role
We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to build and deploy scalable applications in serverless environments. This role involves modernizing legacy systems and implementing robust backend and frontend solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build and deploy scalable backends using Node.js, Go, or Python, and dynamic frontends with React, Vue, or Angular for serverless environments
- →Execute "Strangler Fig" patterns to break down legacy monolithic applications into independent microservices
- →Design and implement RESTful and gRPC APIs following OpenAPI/Swagger standards
- →Model data for both relational and NoSQL databases, optimizing for performance and cost
- →Create optimized, multi-stage Dockerfiles that are security-scanned and production-ready
- →Write pipeline scripts for testing and deployment using Cloud Build or GitHub Actions
- →Integrate OpenTelemetry, Cloud Trace, and Cloud Profiler for debugging performance issues
- →Enforce strict coding standards including linting, typing, and unit/integration testing
- →Explain technical trade-offs to product owners
- →Pair-program with Associate Engineers to help them upskill
Requirements
- ✓Experience with Node.js, Go, or Python for backend development
- ✓Proficiency in React, Vue, or Angular for frontend development
- ✓Knowledge of serverless environments like Cloud Run, App Engine, and Cloud Functions
- ✓Understanding of microservices architecture and "Strangler Fig" patterns
- ✓Experience with RESTful and gRPC APIs and OpenAPI/Swagger standards
- ✓Familiarity with both relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (Firestore, Bigtable)
- ✓Skills in Docker, including creating optimized, multi-stage builds
- ✓Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build or GitHub Actions
- ✓Knowledge of monitoring tools like OpenTelemetry, Cloud Trace, and Cloud Profiler
- ✓Strong understanding of TypeScript, linting, and testing standards
- ✓Ability to communicate technical trade-offs effectively
- ✓Experience in mentoring junior developers
