About the Role
We are looking for a commercially minded Business Analyst (Finance) to join our finance team in Perth. This role plays a key part in supporting business leaders across Australia, New Zealand, PNG, and other locations by delivering financial insights, analysis, and performance reporting that drive effective business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Conduct weekly and monthly financial performance reviews for allocated business lines.
- →Track progress against revenue and LC targets and highlight variances.
- →Monitor and drive reduction of aged open commitments including Debtors and GRNI.
- →Manage revenue and cost accruals, prepaid transactions, and ensure compliance with the matching principle.
- →Oversee core business line finance functions including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, GRNI, and Open Purchase Orders, ensuring adherence to group policies.
- →Ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards (IFRS15).
- →Conduct monthly balance sheet reviews in line with ICoFR compliance requirements.
- →Act as a key point of contact for audit requirements in conjunction with the Financial Controller and Business Controller FP&A.
Requirements
- ✓Experience in financial analysis and reporting
- ✓Knowledge of IFRS15 and ICoFR compliance requirements
- ✓Strong understanding of revenue recognition standards
- ✓Ability to manage and analyze financial data effectively
- ✓Experience with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and GRNI processes
