Key Responsibilities
- →Utilize T-SQL to query, compare, and extract data from multiple databases as needed, using inner and outer joins and record grouping.
- →Create and modify complex, parameterized SSIS packages.
- →Determine whether tasks should run within packages or directly in the database.
- →Manage transactions within packages when appropriate.
- →Generate configuration scripts to update environment information during deployments.
- →Deploy packages to servers and configure their execution properly.
- →Generate SQL Agent job scripts to activate packages.
- →Design, create, and modify complex SSRS reports using stored procedures as data sources, ensuring proper display in required formats.
- →Configure standard and data-driven subscriptions that meet requested delivery methods.
- →Use version control tools to track code, applying branching, merging, and shelveset strategies when necessary.
- →Create or update documentation for objects, processes, packages, or reports created or modified, following established documentation standards.
- →Apply SQL Server cumulative updates.
- →Adhere to project plans and industry standards.
- →Follow internal standards, policies, and procedures.
- →Perform other assigned tasks.
Requirements
- ✓Experience with T-SQL for database querying and manipulation
- ✓Proficiency in creating and managing SSIS packages
- ✓Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration techniques
- ✓Ability to design and optimize SQL Server databases
- ✓Experience with SSRS for report creation and management
