About the Role
We are seeking a Technical Product Owner to support data engineering initiatives in ETL, big data, and integrations. This role focuses on optimizing development team value, managing backlogs, and ensuring seamless execution of enterprise cross-functional projects through collaboration with diverse teams.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own and manage the product backlog for data engineering projects
- →Translate product and technical requirements into user stories
- →Prioritize and groom the product backlog while aligning with development priorities
- →Help define and manage metadata, data lineage, and data quality
- →Collaborate with IT data owners and business leaders for consistent data definitions
- →Coordinate with onshore and offshore development, engineering, design, and business teams
- →Document processes and train business stakeholders on platform features
- →Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
- ✓3+ years as a Product Owner, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role in data engineering
- ✓Experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar platforms
- ✓Proficiency in Jira and Confluence
- ✓Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies and experience in Agile frameworks
- ✓Strong analytical skills with experience in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data
- ✓Comfort with A/B testing and KPIs
- ✓Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- ✓Experience translating complex requirements into clear, actionable items
- ✓Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- ✓Ability to troubleshoot issues, proactively improve processes, and ensure smooth operations
