About the Role
The Core Platform team at Sift is seeking an engineer to maintain and optimize our data, infrastructure, messaging, and services platform. This role involves ensuring system availability, reliability, and performance for our online systems.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and build immutable infrastructure and fault-tolerant, multi-AZ/multi-region systems
- →Implement multi-region deployments with strategies for customer routing
- →Optimize local development and testing workflows
- →Create dynamic environments for real-time service interactions
- →Develop automated bot solutions for deployment and monitoring
- →Participate in on-call support and incident response activities
Requirements
- ✓2+ years of experience in infrastructure/platform services or SRE role
- ✓Strong programming skills in Java, Scala, or Python
- ✓Extensive experience with AWS or GCP cloud infrastructure
- ✓Expertise in infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform
- ✓Proficiency in monitoring and alerting systems
- ✓Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
- ✓Experience troubleshooting production issues and building automated solutions
- ✓Solid understanding of configuration management tools
