About the Role
We are looking for a Mammography Technologist to join our outpatient radiology practice. This role involves operating mammography equipment and performing related procedures while working alongside board-certified subspecialty radiologists.
Key Responsibilities
- →Operate mammography equipment and perform various mammography-related procedures
- →Develop and evaluate film for technical quality including density contrast, definition, and distortion
- →Explain procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventive breast health
- →Prepare and maintain records and files
- →Clean and adjust equipment as needed
- →Perform a variety of tasks under general supervision
Requirements
- ✓Registration as a Radiologic and Mammography Technologist by the A.R.R.T.
- ✓Current Radiology and Mammography license in the State
- ✓Valid hands-on CPR certification
- ✓Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
- ✓Ability to sit for prolonged periods with frequent standing and walking
