About the Role
We are looking for an MRI Technologist to join SimonMed Imaging, a leading outpatient radiology practice. This role involves operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to obtain diagnostic images for physicians while providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- →Operate magnetic resonance scanners to obtain diagnostic images
- →Select appropriate imaging techniques and operate console/peripheral hardware
- →Enter and monitor patient data during procedures
- →Transfer images from disk to storage media and PACS stations
- →Maintain accurate study documentation and produce film records
- →Provide excellent customer service to patients
- →Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
Requirements
- ✓Registration as an MR Technologist by A.R.R.T. or ARMRIT
- ✓CPR certification
- ✓1 year of experience in a fast-paced MRI environment preferred
- ✓Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
- ✓Ability to sit for prolonged periods with frequent standing/walking
