Sine Engineering is the leading global company developing advanced radio communication and navigation systems. We are building mission-critical infrastructure for the multi-million drone era.
We're looking for a Technical Program Manager to drive the execution of next-generation System-on-Chip (SoC) programs, with a strong focus on vendor management and hands-on technical guidance. You'll work alongside an exceptional team of engineers, keeping complex, multi-party silicon projects on track from concept to tape-out and validation. Multiple positions are open and filled on a rolling basis.
Responsibilities:
- End-to-end project management of SoC development programs β planning, scheduling, risk management, and execution across internal teams and external partners.
- Drive vendor selection and onboarding, including RFQ/RFP processes, technical evaluation support, and contract follow-through. Tracking deliverables, reviewing progress, managing milestones, and ensuring technical and contractual alignment.
- Translate and coordinate between technical teams and business stakeholders β surfacing trade-offs, risks, and decisions in terms each audience can act on.
- Own program-level reporting: status, risks, dependencies, and escalations, up to leadership and across partners.
- Provide technical guidance across the program, with emphasis on wireless radio technologies (PHY/MAC, RF transceivers, SDR, proprietary and standard waveforms) and application-side topics (video, compute, interfaces).
- Support the full development lifecycle β from concept and specification through implementation, tape-out and bring-up all the way to the mass production start.
Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in technical project or program management, with at least part of that in semiconductor, SoC, or wireless systems development.
- Experience on managing external vendors and subcontractors.
- Working technical understanding of wireless radio systems
- Familiarity with the SoC development lifecycle (specification, RTL, verification, tape-out, bring-up, characterization) and the typical risks at each stage.
- Strong organizational skills and fluency with modern project management tooling (Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent).
- Excellent communication skills β able to run technical reviews, facilitate decisions, and escalate cleanly.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
Nice to have:
- Hands-on engineering background earlier in career (RF, digital design, firmware, or systems).
- Experience managing programs involving IP licensing or foundry/ASIC partners.
- Knowledge of defense or dual-use program environments and their compliance requirements.
- Experience with field testing of RF or wireless communication systems.
- PMP, Prince2, AgilePM or equivalent certification.
