About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join SiteMinder's Smart Distribution Program (SDP) team. This role focuses on delivering deep, statistically rigorous insights into complex customer, channel, and product behaviors.
Key Responsibilities
- →Independently own complex analytical investigations, translating business questions into structured analyses and recommendations
- →Apply rigorous statistical methods to understand trends and diagnose drivers of change
- →Work with large, distributed datasets using SQL and cloud-based analytics platforms
- →Define, validate, and interpret analytical metrics for consistent team usage
- →Use segmentation, cohort analysis, and time-series analysis to understand customer behavior
- →Communicate insights clearly through written analyses, presentations, and visualizations
Requirements
- ✓Strong experience in a Senior Data Analyst or equivalent role
- ✓Advanced analytical and statistical capability, including hypothesis testing and regression
- ✓Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with distributed data platforms
- ✓Ability to explain outcomes and turn analysis into clear recommendations
- ✓Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new analytical tools and techniques
- ✓Experience building clear dashboards using BI tools
- ✓Familiarity with dimensional data modeling concepts
- ✓Experience collaborating cross-functionally and communicating complex findings
