About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Web Developer to join SiteMinder, a leading hotel commerce platform. You will play a key role in delivering and maintaining our marketing websites and supporting campaign landing pages and emails.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites using Bedrock, Sage, and vanilla WordPress
- →Create and update templates, themes, components, and plugins to support business and marketing needs
- →Build responsive landing pages in Marketo to support global campaigns
- →Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that meets design and accessibility standards
- →Debug and troubleshoot issues across environments, ensuring fast resolution and minimal downtime
- →Perform cross-browser and device testing to ensure consistent, high-quality user experiences
- →Support SEO, performance, and accessibility standards through thoughtful development
- →Collaborate closely with the Web and Marketing teams and contribute to a smooth delivery process via Git
Requirements
- ✓Proven experience developing and maintaining custom WordPress sites in fast-paced environments
- ✓Strong proficiency in Frontend: HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript (ES6), jQuery
- ✓Backend: PHP, MySQL, WordPress Bedrock, Sage
- ✓Workflow: Git, CLI, NPM, Yarn
- ✓Proven ability to debug complex web issues independently and efficiently
- ✓Familiarity with Mac and Windows development environments
- ✓Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- ✓Self-starter with the discipline to manage remote work effectively
