About the Role
We are looking for a Frontend Software Engineer to join SiteMinder, a world-leading hotel commerce platform. In this role, you will help build frontend solutions and features using the latest technology in an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- →Deliver engaging experiences using front-end technologies like Vue.js, TypeScript, Webpack, GraphQL and RESTful APIs
- →Build scalable and testable high-quality frontend code
- →Work in a cross-functional team and participate in sprint planning, refinement, retrospective and demos
- →Lead features from technical design, implementation to release
- →Collaborate with engineers and product owners to deliver solutions
- →Contribute to code reviews and documentation
- →Stay updated with best practices and latest technologies
Requirements
- ✓Extensive professional experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks like Vue.js or React
- ✓Experience building and maintaining large-scale production platforms
- ✓Ability to write clean, well-organized code with appropriate trade-offs
- ✓Understanding of frontend ecosystem including bundling, linting, testing and releasing code
- ✓Willingness to learn new frameworks and paradigms
- ✓Familiarity with responsive design and REST APIs, GraphQL
- ✓Familiarity with build pipelines and CI/CD systems
