About the Role
We are looking for a Go Backend Developer to join our Ride team and help modernize our platform's foundation. This role involves building and maintaining key backend services with a focus on scalability, performance, and testability.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, build, and maintain reliable and scalable backend services in Go
- →Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional team members to deliver customer-facing solutions
- →Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with a focus on quality and business value
- →Take end-to-end ownership of solutions, deploying and operating them in a modern cloud environment (e.g., AWS)
- →Ensure solutions are robust, observable, and easy to operate in production environments
- →Demonstrate mastery of modern development toolchains, including AI-powered tools
Requirements
- ✓Solid experience developing backend services in Go
- ✓Strong understanding of REST and gRPC APIs
- ✓Familiarity with event-driven architectures and hands-on experience with Kafka and microservices
- ✓Experience with data stores like PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch
- ✓Ability to thrive in agile teams and continuously improve processes and systems
- ✓Open-minded and collaborative, willing to support frontend development when needed
