About the Role
We are looking for a Data Science Team Member to join SIXT and help shape the future of mobility. This role involves leveraging data to optimize core business processes, from revenue management to strategic fleet steering.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead the data science efforts behind planning and optimizing SIXT’s rental car fleet
- →Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, helping them leverage data for strategic decision-making
- →Develop explainable long-term demand forecasts that drive fleet planning and investment strategies
- →Build optimization and simulation models to support data-driven fleet steering decisions
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring solutions to production
Requirements
- ✓Strong track record in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Advanced Optimization techniques
- ✓Highly proficient in Python and cloud-based ecosystems, preferably AWS
- ✓Hands-on experience deploying, monitoring, and maintaining machine learning models
- ✓Growth mindset with a passion for Decision Intelligence and AI-driven solutions
- ✓Excellent stakeholder engagement, data storytelling, and championing a data-driven culture
- ✓Fluent in English and thrive in fast-paced, international, and cross-functional teams
