About the Role
We are looking for a Data Science Team Member to join SIXT near Munich. This role focuses on driving business processes through sophisticated algorithms and machine learning models.
Key Responsibilities
- →Engage with technical and business stakeholders to translate business problems into technical solutions
- →Design, develop, refine and test data science solutions focusing on time series predictions, capacity optimizations and time models
- →Understand operational dynamics and build models that balance service levels with resource efficiency
- →Stay updated on the latest research in forecasting techniques and optimizations
- →Work closely with business stakeholders, MLOps engineers, and software developers to deploy end-to-end solutions
Requirements
- ✓Experience in resource planning, scheduling, and capacity optimization
- ✓Proficiency in modern ML techniques including time series forecasting, regression, optimization algorithms and reinforcement learning
- ✓Ability to translate complex business problems into actionable analytical tasks
- ✓Expertise in Python for data analysis, modelling, and production deployment
- ✓Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and cloud technologies (preferably AWS)
- ✓Fluent English required
