About the Role

We are looking for a Go Backend Developer to join our Ride team and help modernize our platform's foundation. This role involves building and maintaining key backend services with a focus on scalability, performance, and testability.

Key Responsibilities

→Design, build, and maintain reliable and scalable backend services in Go
→Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional team members to deliver customer-facing solutions
→Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with a strong focus on quality
→Take end-to-end ownership of solutions, deploying and operating them in a modern cloud environment
→Ensure solutions are robust, observable, and easy to operate in production
→Demonstrate mastery of modern development toolchains

Requirements

✓Solid experience developing backend services in Go
✓Strong understanding of REST and gRPC APIs
✓Familiarity with event-driven architectures and hands-on experience with Kafka and microservices
✓Experience with data stores like PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch
✓Ability to thrive in agile teams and continuously improve processes
✓Open-minded and collaborative, willing to support frontend development when needed
