About the Role
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join SIXT and shape the future of mobility through technology. This role involves leading engineering efforts behind critical platforms that power global fleet operations and revenue optimization capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead and develop high-performing engineering teams or engineering managers
- →Empower teams to design and deliver scalable, reliable systems
- →Act as a servant leader by coaching, mentoring, and supporting autonomous teams
- →Partner closely with product leaders to shape product vision
- →Drive execution and delivery across large cross-functional initiatives
- →Balance speed and quality by managing trade-offs between rapid delivery and long-term technical sustainability
Requirements
- ✓Proven experience leading software engineering teams
- ✓Strong technical foundation with experience in architecture, system design, and large-scale distributed systems
- ✓Experience building and operating cloud-based platforms using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- ✓Ability to challenge technical assumptions and identify risks early
- ✓Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- ✓Deep understanding of agile development practices
