About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Product Owner to join SIXT's team. This role focuses on owning the rental customer journey backend, ensuring it remains lean, extensible, and robust for global operations.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop and communicate a compelling platform roadmap that balances business needs with technical sustainability
- →Manage competing demands from multiple Customer-facing Product Owners across different domains
- →Work closely with engineering team and management to align on technical feasibility and architecture decisions
- →Distil complex requirements from multiple divisions into clean, reusable platform capabilities and APIs
- →Act as the platform's guardian, ensuring new features align with the overall vision
Requirements
- ✓Several years of technical product management experience, particularly with backend platforms
- ✓Good understanding of backend systems, APIs, microservices architecture, and platform engineering principles
- ✓Strong analytical skills with experience using metrics and data to prioritize features
- ✓Ability to work with diverse internal customers and multiple Product Owners
- ✓Outstanding communication skills to explain technical concepts to business stakeholders
- ✓Fluent in English; German is a plus
