About the Role
Sleeper is seeking a sharp, curious, and collaborative Data Scientist to join their growing team. This role will partner closely with product, engineering, and business teams to drive decision-making through rigorous analysis, scalable pipelines, and impactful insights.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for reliable, timely access to core product and business data.
- →Define and develop core metrics to measure product performance, feature adoption, user engagement, and strategic initiatives.
- →Build and maintain interactive dashboards in Tableau to deliver clear, actionable insights to stakeholders.
- →Design and analyze experiments (A/B tests) to evaluate new features and product changes.
- →Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights using statistical analysis and visual storytelling.
- →Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, designers, and executives to drive impact through data.
- →Proactively identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities hidden in user behavior and market dynamics.
Requirements
- ✓Strong command of SQL and Python, or similar data-focused languages.
- ✓Proficiency in Tableau or similar BI tools.
- ✓Proven experience with data modeling, pipeline design, and working with large-scale datasets.
- ✓Solid understanding of experimental design, causal inference, and statistical analysis.
- ✓Ability to visualize and communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- ✓Prior experience in a product analytics, business intelligence, or data science function.
